After the disruption of 2020 forced by the COVID pandemic, this year was supposed to be a return to normality. It was anything but. Erratic fixture schedulings, struggles to find home grounds, persistant rain, a shortage of players and more COVID outbreaks made for almost as short a programme as 2020.
It started well with a few new recruits and four victories on the bounce before taking a drumming in Highgate Woods at the hands of old rivals Palm Tree. And that was largely it. Rain and player shortages meant no fixtures in July and for most of August and the season culminated with a rain impacted late season encounter with new foes Brixton. It was a season largely to forget ...roll on 2022.
