GCC defeated Harry Baldwin's Occasionals by 63 runs at Chiswick House. A comfortable margin in the end, yes, but a partnership of 113 off 94 balls for the third wicket between Max Lovell (101) and Author and sometime netter Nick Hogg (42) kept us very, very honest. There were fifties for Jim, David and Dan in our 252-7, including a 150 opening stand for the two Ws. Dan (4-48) and Cunners (3-15) led with the ball, though the first wicket fell to Ian Thomas, snorting up the hill, with Sonny looking on admiringly/playing on his iPad. More to follow in time from Frank Cumberbatch (hopefully).
