This is more ‘vague impressions’ of the Bumblers game than ‘match report’, so long ago did it take place.  Apologies.

Dave W batted bravely for 49 and with Dan DJ and James A-P giving it some real  tap (4 sixes between them) to get us to 4 for 144 it looked as if we’d be setting a total north of 200.  We went at it a little too optimistically from that point on and ended up being bowled out in 38 overs for just 178 (our last 5 bats contributing 11).  Which always felt 20 light.

We bowled really well in return with Rob, James, Hugo and Anthony all snaffling  wickets.  Tom was the star turn picking up 3 late wickets in quick succession leaving us with a nail-biting finish.   We shelled too many chances in the field in the final analysis.
